The oil is volatile, requiring refilling without use, but the gas is not easily volatile, making it a better choice for your wallet. The powerful gas flame is just as windproof as the traditional ZIPPO and can be used in outdoor settings.
If you have a standard-size ZIPPO, you can replace the inner with the Z-plus. Simply take out the inner from the ZIPPO and insert the Z-plus. No tools are required, and the replacement can be done in about 10 seconds. However, the gas is not pre-filled, so you will need to purchase and fill it separately.
